Rene: Reception and Medical Assistant

Rene is one of the newest and most energetic members of the team at Children's Orthopedic Specialists (COS)! Rene joined COS in January 2007.

Rene has quickly adapted to the hectic pace of the reception/front desk position and is enthusiastically learning the medical assistant position from our certified and experienced staff.

Rene is a perfect fit at COS; she loves medicine and children! Rene has always wanted to become a physician and is presently working towards her ultimate goal. Rene currently attends Pima Community College and plans to obtain her Bachelors Degree in nursing at the University of Arizona. From there she plans to enter medical school and ultimately work in a pediatric related field.

Rene lives with her grandmother and enjoys outdoor sports and just hanging out with her friends.

We are excited to have Rene at COS and play an early role in her medical career!
