Dr. Henderson has been in practice at Children’s Orthopedic Specialists since 2008.

Dr. Henderson’s undergraduate education took place at Stanford University, where he graduated with honors in Human Biology.  Dr. Henderson completed medical school at the University of California San Diego, where his exposure to pediatric orthopedic surgery at Children’s Hospital San Diego helped to shape his future career. 

Dr. Henderson’s internship and orthopedic residency were here in Tucson with the University of Arizona Department of Orthopedic Surgery.  As a chief resident in orthopedic surgery, Dr. Henderson worked here in Tucson with Dr. Vincent, paving the way for their future partnership in Children’s Orthopedic Specialists. 

Dr. Henderson finished his formal training with a fellowship in pediatric orthopedic surgery at Children’s Hospital San Diego, where he gained experience in all aspects of pediatric orthopedics, including sports medicine, sports injuries, fractures, neuromuscular disorders, and upper extremity problems. 

Dr. Henderson has numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals.  Pediatric orthopedic research performed by Dr. Henderson has been published in the Journal of Children’s Orthopedics, and presented at the Annual Meeting of the Pediatric Orthopedic Society of North America (POSNA).
